Big Fat Day

it's another ATE-NON-STOP DAY for me..

woke up early again today...
drove down-town to drop ling to class..
then met up mummy at office cz wanted to send my car for new paint and polish..
wil not be seeing smart smart for 2 days...
*sad*

anyway...
stopped at the new Fresh store nearby to get myself a cup of drink before going office
=p

backed to office and on9...

1smthg, out to pick up ling again...

tapao-ed my childhood favourite Indian Mee Goreng as lunch on the way back to office....

it's been ages since i last ate the indian mee goreng from this particular stall...

3 or 4 years ago?

stil remember i hd it atleast 3 times a week during primary school...

i was such a loyal customer...

until the uncle knew what i was gona order just looking at my face...

HAHAHAHA!

it's now stil the same uncle selling, stil the same old great taste

BUT he couldn't recognise me anymore...

well, perhaps i grew more leng lui d...

that's why!

went queensbay wif family afta office hour then...

dined in Kim Gary and went shopping around wif mummy for my bday present while daddi went borders...

no doubt, daddi is a serious book lover..

tot that he's searching for new books for himself again as usual...

BUT....

he came out smiling with this book in hand instead...

it's my first 21st bday present!

back home...
had tomyam, birdnest soup and few slices of dragon fruit sumore...
and im just full to the max now

Eyes-Torturing Day

gt up early to drop ling for english class...
nid to hang around down-town for 2 hours while waiting her class to finish...
so dear accompanied me...
we went for the Kei Tui Mee Suah infront of Honda in Sg Pinang...

spent the rest of the day on helping up Makcik to pick Bird Nest then...
and my eyes are real tired now...
it's kind of eyes-torturing to focus on those tiny tiny feathers of swiflet for so many hours continously...

Lone Pine, Batu Ferrighi

it's sunday again!
only one more week of holiday left for me...

anyway, it's daddi's firm annual lunchen today...
last year was at E&O and this year we shifted to Lone Pine...
another subsidiaries of E&O group...
it's my first time there..
and it's an awesome boutique hotel i would say...
i just love the whole concept and design of it..
look forward to having a stay-over-nite there in the future
=)

Queens Day

i was too bored at home..
so texted dear and spontaneously decided to go Queensbay..
and another purpose of mine was....

so basically we just walked around aimlessly...
spotted a simple nice dress but too bad it's too big for me

but stil grabbed 2 shorts and a basic..

while passing by sumwhr near Guess...
a Taiwanese tour guide approached us, trying to sell us sort of couple photo + tour package to Taiwan...
did a bit of chit-chat...
d funniest part was he tot i was only in high school...
and dear answered “对啊，有保养”

that's what dear would always tell whenever we pass thru gurney drive...

wanted to try since last sem...

just that din get to come back that often this year...

so gt no chance for it...

BUT, he brought me there 2 days ago...

it's like FINALLY!

what's so special about this bak kut teh is....

its soup is not in black as the usual bak kut teh...

it's clear as chicken soup instead...

very nice but eu might nid to wait for quite some time...

dont go for it when eu are expecting a quick meal...

Daddi's Birthday ♥

6th December - quite a special date for me...

it's the day when my forever Hero came to this world...

yes, it's Daddi's Birthday =))

and without noticing, Daddi is already celebrating his golden 50th this year...

stil remember our young strong SUPERMAN carrying us the two sisters togther at the same time - one in an arm - walking thru The Forbidden City of Beijing...

it was just like smthg happened yesterday...

and now he's already 50...

We had an early celebration at Mizi Bistro one day b4 the actual day...

dear came after church service with cake that surprised daddi..

hahaha...

but too bad that xuan couldnt make it...

she's just too busy with her society's activities...

this is the price she have to pay for holding the post of vice president..

exams and lab works were really stressing me out..

seriously, i was just kacau-ing him...

i thought that he really din prepare anythg as he claimed...

so i was expecting to get his "standard answer" - " i let eu pick what eu like by urself ma~ "

BUT guess what?

he answered " i noe eu saw it d only eu kesi ask me mia! " instead...

i was like " har...saw what? i din see tiok anythg lo..."

and only i realised there's a HUGE Padini shopping bag hidden beneath the backseat..

also, one of the Submission Finalists for Foreign Language Film of 2010 Oscar.....
and now, it's exclusively on GSC International Screen!

Asia Cafe + Snowflakes

hd dinner at Asia Cafe wif dear last nite...
despite its name wif the word CAFE, it's more of a hawker centre to me...
but wif better atmosphere and more varieties of food, of course...
and it really wow-ed me to see such a vast choice of food there....
they have Chinese, Western, Japanese, Vietnamese, Thais, Korean, Middle-East, Shanghai Cuisine etc etc..
eu name it, they have it...

we both hd a little dilemma on deciding what to take honestly...
too many choices that blur our mind..
hahahah XD

in the end, i ordered a Rib Chop Set which came wif rice, veges, a sunny-top and a bowl of soup... PORK is always my 1st choice when it comes to dining out...
( eu wil und why if eu were here in UM without any chinese/ non-halal food )

we then hd dessert at Snowflakes which is just opp Asia Cafe..
there was a super-duple long-Q there...
it's like we were in the line for about 20 mins..
got an 'UFO' and another 20 mins to retrieve our dessert....
but stil thumbs up for the dessert!

the Taro Balls are just as authentic as those i tried b4 in Taiwan...

taste exactly the same, really!

it was my last day in Penang before coming back for 2nd year.
only me and Makcik were home as the rest hd went out...
so Makcik din cook that nite..
and Dear picked up me for dinner after sending his sis off....

" what eu wana eat ar? " Dear asked once i jumped into the car...

" erm...abo we go eat zhu char lor! " (excited)

" har...only two of us go eat zhu char ar? like weird weird eh..."
