Happy Winter Solstice!

it's the Winter Solstice Festival today!
Traditionally, this is the day when family members would sit down togthr, making and eating glutinous balls (TangYuan) which symbolize reunion.
As im from a big close-knitted family, i hd quite sum wonderful memories regarding this festival. =)
The glutinous balls making was one of our annual family activities.
on the night before, all of them would cum over to my house, helping up my granny.
and we the cousins would crowd around the table in the living room, making glutinous balls while watching tv; the mums would be sitting around the dining table, making theirs while chatting ; and the dads would be upstairs hving company conference.
Ah, I just seriously miss the time so much! hahahas =)
I miss the yummy yummy colourful glutinous balls ah ma made too!
but this year im away fr home and i hv to bear wif a LONELY winter solstice..
candise went paktor while evelynn had joined the rest of them to SS2 for glutinous balls...
and i wana do preparation for tmr's prosection class...
so im alone in the room again....TOO BAD =(
but nvm, evelynn promised to get back a bowl of it for me!
and ah ma promise to make sum specially for me when im back home on christmas!
