and just a week ago...

another cousin of mine taken her very important life-turning step,

the actual wedding day falled on Valentine's Day~

woke up quite early helpin up for preparation b4 the groom's arrival...

and i was one of the Ji Mui as well...

so attached along to Alor Star back to the Groom's side..

since we planned of hanging out at nite...

xuan and i drove back by our own after those ceremonies..

while the rest of them went Hi- Tea at hotel and prepared for that nite's dinner

so it was Chinese New Year!

A perfect timing when everyone would just drop anythg in hand and enjoy this special festival with their beloved one

- family & friends -

Well, this year's CNY is just a short one for me.

sad case.

it was my study week and i had exam on the 5th day.

so i only gave myself a 2 day leave from studying.

pathetic right?

BUT still, enjoyed alot!

=))

as for Reunion Dinner,

stil we stick to tradition and had steamboat at home...

helped up mummy and makcik in the kitchen ...

and guess what?

we discovered this GIGANTIC ONION mummy bought..

early in the morning of the 1st day,

went over to Dear's place to pai ni.

and attached along, paying visit around.

it was his turn to come over my side then in the evening.

*hehe*

visited Chek Gong's house after having dinner...

it has been an unwritten rule that my whole big family would gather over there every year..

so eu wil see more than 70 pairs of shoes scattered at Chek Gong's doorstep.

HAHAHA!

well, this is the fun part of having a big family.

yup, i got kind of tipsy after having a few sips of 19.5% wine dear bought daddi.

i was not drunk, but fallen aslp for like 30 mins?

im seriously not good in drinking..

and we did had a great time baby-sitting the kids too!

dear got his 1st experience in carrying a baby..

and i could see the "father-ness" in him!

he was like keep look at the kid, smilling, saying "SO CUTE!"

since we reached quite late, so the line wasnt that long...
though we stil nid to wait for a while...
and this was what Dear told me b4 ordering:
" Everythg is free bcz it's ur birthday! EAT MORE!"

cz she just gt cash reward fr daddi...
and she really took it seriously..

but in the end her good KOR KOR footed the bill..

Family Gathering ♥ 02.01.11

so it was a new year gathering on 2nd Jan..
a family gathering ( mum's side )..
had lunch at Lone Pine Hotel again...
but to my surprise, there's difference in menu as compared to my previous dine-in...
=)

FYI, my maternal family is quite a small family...
so only 2 tables dat day...
- The Parent's vs The Kid's -
and of cz YOUNG ppl like me was allocated a place on the latter one
LOL!

alright, im just too lazy to type d...
so just let the pictures do it.

Big Fat Day

it's another ATE-NON-STOP DAY for me..

woke up early again today...
drove down-town to drop ling to class..
then met up mummy at office cz wanted to send my car for new paint and polish..
wil not be seeing smart smart for 2 days...
*sad*

anyway...
stopped at the new Fresh store nearby to get myself a cup of drink before going office
=p

Passion Fruit Green Tea is the love..

backed to office and on9...

1smthg, out to pick up ling again...

tapao-ed my childhood favourite Indian Mee Goreng as lunch on the way back to office....

it's been ages since i last ate the indian mee goreng from this particular stall...

3 or 4 years ago?

stil remember i hd it atleast 3 times a week during primary school...

i was such a loyal customer...

until the uncle knew what i was gona order just looking at my face...

HAHAHAHA!

it's now stil the same uncle selling, stil the same old great taste

BUT he couldn't recognise me anymore...

well, perhaps i grew more leng lui d...

that's why!

went queensbay wif family afta office hour then...

dined in Kim Gary and went shopping around wif mummy for my bday present while daddi went borders...

no doubt, daddi is a serious book lover..

tot that he's searching for new books for himself again as usual...

BUT....

he came out smiling with this book in hand instead...

it's my first 21st bday present!

back home...
had tomyam, birdnest soup and few slices of dragon fruit sumore...
and im just full to the max now

Lone Pine, Batu Ferrighi

it's sunday again!
only one more week of holiday left for me...
=(

anyway, it's daddi's firm annual lunchen today...
last year was at E&O and this year we shifted to Lone Pine...
another subsidiaries of E&O group...
it's my first time there..
and it's an awesome boutique hotel i would say...
i just love the whole concept and design of it..
look forward to having a stay-over-nite there in the future
=)

Daddi's Birthday ♥

6th December - quite a special date for me...

it's the day when my forever Hero came to this world...

yes, it's Daddi's Birthday =))

and without noticing, Daddi is already celebrating his golden 50th this year...

stil remember our young strong SUPERMAN carrying us the two sisters togther at the same time - one in an arm - walking thru The Forbidden City of Beijing...

it was just like smthg happened yesterday...

and now he's already 50...

We had an early celebration at Mizi Bistro one day b4 the actual day...

dear came after church service with cake that surprised daddi..

hahaha...

but too bad that xuan couldnt make it...

she's just too busy with her society's activities...

this is the price she have to pay for holding the post of vice president..
