immediately reached home from Alor Star...

Dear had actually booked a table at Victoria's Station...

but then we changed our mind to have a double date with NingChao & KeeWynn

at The Ship's, Batu Ferrighi...

again, it was drizzling dat day...

so the traffic was kind of slow...

and it was also my fault since i was rushing...

we only reached around 7.30...

soooo sry to keep the couple waiting for us...

or else we would had stucked on the long que!

Penang Cny Cultural & Heritage Celebration

on the day i was i back after exam itself,

it was the annually held Penang CNY Cultural & Heritage Celebration!

so we went over after dear's church practice..

i'd been there for a few times with my family..

but it's the 1st time to go wif Mr BoyF...

out of our expectation, the traffic wasnt as bad as we thought it would be...

most probably due to the bad weather...

believe or not, it started to rain once we stepped off the car..

so din get to walk through all exhibition zones...

but stil, it dint stop us from enjoying this special date

it rain was getting heavier that Dear took off his outer shirt and wrapped it on me...

Officially 21!

thought that couldnt get back for new year and bday again this year..
cz my class would only end at 5pm on NYE...
but thanks to M'sian Football Team for making 31st Dec a public holiday!
so Sherlynn & I grabbed Aeroline ticket at the very last min...
we were lucky enough to get the 2 out of 3 last tickets!

we hd some drinks at Chorus Hotel while waiting for boarding
and we discovered such GIANT COOKIES on sale over there!


It's as big as my FACE!


on the next day, had a 2-days-earlier Birthday celebration wif Dear & Besties...
we made it a dinner at XunBin, Tanjung Bungah...

Queens Day

i was too bored at home..
so texted dear and spontaneously decided to go Queensbay..
and another purpose of mine was....
To play wif his Doinkie!

spotted a simple nice dress but too bad it's too big for me

a Taiwanese tour guide approached us, trying to sell us sort of couple photo + tour package to Taiwan...

that's what dear would always tell whenever we pass thru gurney drive...

wanted to try since last sem...

just that din get to come back that often this year...

so gt no chance for it...

BUT, he brought me there 2 days ago...

it's like FINALLY!

what's so special about this bak kut teh is....

its soup is not in black as the usual bak kut teh...

it's clear as chicken soup instead...

very nice but eu might nid to wait for quite some time...

dont go for it when eu are expecting a quick meal...

and only i realised there's a HUGE Padini shopping bag hidden beneath the backseat..

Asia Cafe + Snowflakes

hd dinner at Asia Cafe wif dear last nite...
despite its name wif the word CAFE, it's more of a hawker centre to me...
but wif better atmosphere and more varieties of food, of course...
and it really wow-ed me to see such a vast choice of food there....
they have Chinese, Western, Japanese, Vietnamese, Thais, Korean, Middle-East, Shanghai Cuisine etc etc..
eu name it, they have it...

we both hd a little dilemma on deciding what to take honestly...
too many choices that blur our mind..
hahahah XD

in the end, i ordered a Rib Chop Set which came wif rice, veges, a sunny-top and a bowl of soup... PORK is always my 1st choice when it comes to dining out...
( eu wil und why if eu were here in UM without any chinese/ non-halal food )

we then hd dessert at Snowflakes which is just opp Asia Cafe..
there was a super-duple long-Q there...
it's like we were in the line for about 20 mins..
got an 'UFO' and another 20 mins to retrieve our dessert....
but stil thumbs up for the dessert!

we ordered Taro Balls Series topped wif Yam, Red Beans and Pearls

the Taro Balls are just as authentic as those i tried b4 in Taiwan...

taste exactly the same, really!

not regreting of waiting for so long...
